Worked on the ocsf-schema repository to deliver File Object Drive Type Enrichment, enhancing security visibility and supporting SOC threat analysis. The contribution involved adding drive_type and drive_type_id fields to the File Object, improving data governance and auditability for downstream systems. Applied data modeling and schema development skills to ensure schema consistency and facilitate integration with other teams. Used Markdown for documentation and commit-based traceability to link changes directly to security objectives. The work focused on schema evolution to align with risk reduction goals, strengthening the repository’s ability to support security analytics and readiness without introducing new bugs during the development period.
