During January 2025, 0fflineuser enhanced the fzplug plugin system in the jarun/nnn repository by implementing support for symbolic links when locating plugin executables. Using Shell Scripting, they modified the plugin discovery process to follow symlinks within plugin directories, ensuring that plugins referenced by symbolic links are properly detected and usable. This targeted feature improved compatibility and reliability for users managing plugins through symlinks, addressing a specific gap in the plugin system’s flexibility.
