During January 2025, Kusekushi focused on stabilizing the Boost port integration within the SerenityOS/serenity repository. They migrated the Boost download source from the deprecated Boostorg artifactory to GitHub Releases, updating patch file paths to align with the new source structure. This work, implemented using C++ and Shell scripting, improved build system reliability and enhanced cross-platform development workflows. By addressing patch management and correcting download references, Kusekushi reduced build failures and improved CI stability. Their targeted bug fix ensured that the Boost library could be reliably downloaded and integrated, streamlining developer onboarding and maintaining a modern, maintainable build environment.
