Focused on reliability, the developer revised the data-fetching logic to calculate daily trading volume as the difference between the current and previous day’s data, ensuring more accurate and consistent metrics across dashboards. This targeted bug fix eliminated discrepancies in day-over-day volume reporting, directly improving the quality of analytics for end users. The solution was implemented using TypeScript and leveraged skills in API integration and data processing, with all changes documented and traceable through a single, well-structured commit and pull request.
