During the month, Hipo focused on improving data reliability in the DefiLlama/dimension-adapters repository by addressing a critical bug affecting Lotus Finance’s daily volume reporting. Using TypeScript and leveraging skills in API integration and data processing, Hipo revised the data-fetching logic to calculate daily trading volume as the difference between the current and previous day’s data. This approach resolved discrepancies in day-over-day metrics and enhanced the accuracy of dashboard reporting. Although no new features were introduced, the targeted fix demonstrated a thoughtful approach to data integrity, ensuring that downstream analytics and reporting tools now reflect more precise and consistent information.
