During January 2026, Vaayne developed a project-specific rules extension for the coding agent in the badlogic/pi-mono repository. This extension enabled the agent to dynamically load and apply contextual rules by scanning a designated directory for markdown files, ensuring that coding workflows adhered to each project's unique guidelines. Vaayne implemented the solution using TypeScript and Node.js, leveraging file system operations to discover, parse, and enforce these rules. The work included an example extension to demonstrate reproducible rule application across projects. While the contribution was focused and technically sound, it was limited in scope, delivering one feature without addressing bug fixes during the period.
