During December 2025, 40u5 developed a user-facing feature for the block/goose repository that preserves URL query parameters across session redirects and auto-fills the message input from a 'q' parameter. This enhancement streamlines session resumption and supports workflows with predefined queries, reducing friction for users starting or resuming tasks. 40u5 implemented the solution using front-end JavaScript for URL parsing and client-side pre-fill logic, integrating it with existing session management. The work demonstrated proficiency in both frontend and backend web development, with a focus on practical user experience improvements. No bugs were reported, indicating a well-scoped and robust implementation.
