Developed the DesktopTileLauncher: Bookmark Tiles Launch Feature for the telegramdesktop/winget-pkgs repository, enabling users to open bookmarked sites as desktop tiles in their preferred browser and profile. Focused on package management and deployment, the work included creating a new installer, adding locale files, and generating a Winget version manifest to streamline Windows distribution and localization. All changes were implemented using YAML, emphasizing maintainable configuration and traceable releases. This feature improved user access to frequently visited sites and enhanced the onboarding process, while the packaging updates contributed to a more reliable and auditable Winget-based deployment pipeline for future releases.
