In February 2026, Atprotom enhanced localization and accessibility in the thunderbird/thunderbird-l10n repository by migrating the Move To and Copy To menus to the Fluent localization format. This work involved updating UI components using JavaScript and FTL to support more robust pluralization handling for attachment deletion messages, improving multilingual usability. Atprotom continued the migration of compose features from PluralForm.sys.mjs, further aligning Thunderbird’s localization infrastructure with scalable, modern patterns. The project demonstrated depth in UI/UX design and front end development, focusing on streamlining translation workflows and ensuring consistent, accessible user experiences across diverse language contexts within the Thunderbird application.
