In August 2025, Anand enhanced the firebase/flutterfire repository by implementing an internal API improvement that exposed the ThinkingConfig class in the firebase_ai.dart export surface. Using Dart, Firebase, and Flutter, Anand enabled GenerationConfig to directly access ThinkingConfig, streamlining the configuration workflow between these modules. This targeted change reduced integration friction for downstream components and laid the groundwork for future configuration-driven features. Anand’s work focused on improving API design and module exports, which increased maintainability and developer experience within the codebase.
