During March 2025, Sambhav contributed to the checkstyle/checkstyle repository by modernizing the Javadoc Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) representation. He focused on aligning Javadoc token types, specifically for HTML elements and FIELD_TYPE, with an updated AST structure to enhance the accuracy of Javadoc parsing and code analysis. This work involved deep AST manipulation and parsing in Java, ensuring that documentation checks and related tooling could operate more reliably across the codebase. By delivering this feature, Sambhav established a technical foundation for future improvements in Javadoc quality checks and compatibility, demonstrating a strong grasp of code analysis and Java development practices.
