During November 2024, Siyuan enhanced the siyuan-note/siyuan repository by delivering a KaTeX text replacement improvement, focusing on consistent rendering of mathematical expressions throughout the editor. Using JavaScript and front end development skills, Siyuan implemented logic to replace all instances of KaTex with KaTeX, ensuring uniformity across different editor components. The work involved integrating KaTeX, validating rendering across modules, and maintaining repository alignment with the KaTeX rendering pipeline. Although no bugs were reported or fixed during this period, the feature improved reliability and user experience for mathematical content, demonstrating careful attention to cross-module consistency and commit-based workflows.
