Developed a granular JVB port and IP advertising configuration for the docker-jitsi-meet repository, enabling precise control over network addressing in both IPv4 and IPv6 environments. This feature introduced a new IP#port format, allowing users to specify ports alongside IP addresses for JVB configuration. The work involved updating environment examples and the JVB configuration to reflect these changes, enhancing flexibility for diverse network setups. Leveraging skills in configuration management, DevOps, and networking, the implementation was carried out using Go and Shell scripting. The update addressed the need for fine-grained network control without introducing any bug fixes during the development period.
