During November 2024, Uelog developed enhanced product search and price-based sorting features for the MicroParent ProductService repository. Leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and backend API development skills, Uelog implemented endpoints that allow users to search for products by name using case-insensitive partial matching and to sort results by price in either ascending or descending order. The solution includes robust input validation and error handling for invalid sort parameters, ensuring reliable API behavior. While no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work improved product discovery and pricing visibility, supporting more efficient shopping decisions and contributing to a more user-friendly backend service.
