During May 2025, Aryan Jain enhanced the Notifications Center in the FusionIIIT/Fusion-client repository by implementing a star and unstar feature for notifications, improving the user interface and refining the filtering and sorting mechanisms. Using React, JavaScript, and CSS, Aryan focused on UI/UX design to create a more intuitive and visually consistent experience for managing notifications. The update included robust handling of empty states for starred notifications, ensuring stability and clarity in the user workflow. While the work was limited to a single feature and minor UI fixes, it laid a solid foundation for future notification-driven enhancements within the application.
