Worked on the quarylabs/sqruff repository to enhance deployment flexibility by introducing support for custom installation directories in the install script. Extended the core shell scripting logic to accept a user-specified path, defaulting to /usr/local/bin, which improves cross-environment compatibility and packaging readiness. Updated documentation, including the main project and VS Code editor READMEs, to clearly reflect the new installation flow and usage instructions. Focused on DevOps and scripting skills, the work addressed maintainability and developer experience, although no major bugs were fixed during this period. The changes streamline installation processes and support diverse deployment scenarios for future development.
