During November 2024, 33times worked on the MegaMek/megamek repository, focusing on resolving a cross-environment reliability issue. By identifying and fixing a missing comma in the codebase, 33times addressed a discrepancy between the MM and MHQ environments, directly linked to MHQ issue #5198. The solution, implemented with Java and Git, improved environment parity and reduced production risk by ensuring consistent behavior across deployments. 33times demonstrated careful debugging in a legacy codebase and collaborated with the MHQ team to enhance traceability, referencing both the issue and commit for future triage. This work contributed to more stable and reliable test outcomes.
