In April 2025, 3igcheeze developed a Shop content filtering feature for the ReVanced/revanced-patches repository, targeting improved user feed quality by removing TikTok Shop items. Using Java and Android development skills, they introduced a ShopFilter component with a HIDE_SHOP toggle, allowing users to enable or disable the filter as needed. The implementation focused on maintainable patch development, establishing a reusable filter logic that supports future content filtering expansions. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work delivered a cleaner, more relevant feed experience and laid the groundwork for scalable, toggle-driven content control within the application’s patch framework.
