During January 2026, Atomys focused on enhancing the developer experience for the basedhardware/omi repository by delivering comprehensive documentation for integrating external custom speech-to-text (STT) services with Omi’s real-time transcription system. Leveraging skills in backend development, WebSocket integration, and Markdown, Atomys addressed documentation gaps and clarified workflows for sending transcription segments to custom STT pipelines. The work provided detailed guidance and practical examples, supporting both onboarding and partner integration efforts. While no major bugs were fixed during this period, the emphasis on documentation quality and maintainability contributed to reducing integration risk and improving the platform’s overall readiness for external developers.
