During November 2025, Andrew Zhao focused on enhancing the user interface of the palantir/blueprint repository by addressing a critical UI alignment issue. He co-authored a fix that centered the switch indicator, improving both usability and visual consistency in accordance with design specifications. This work involved applying CSS and SCSS to refine the front end, ensuring the switch control was visually aligned and reducing potential user confusion. Andrew’s contribution demonstrated attention to detail in UI design and effective collaboration within the development team. Although the period included only one bug fix, the work addressed a nuanced aspect of user experience.
