During November 2025, Takapito initiated Japanese localization for the KOReader User Guide in the koreader/koreaderhub.io.git repository, translating 4.7% of the content using PO files and the Weblate platform. This work established a scalable localization workflow, integrating translation tooling with Git-based commit tracking to support ongoing content updates. Takapito focused on documentation, localization, and translation, enabling broader accessibility for Japanese users and laying the foundation for future language support. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution improved the user experience for non-English readers and demonstrated effective cross-repository collaboration and workflow integration for continuous documentation updates.
