Using C programming and embedded GUI development skills, Bays implemented horizontal text scrolling for remote button labels, allowing longer descriptive names to be fully displayed rather than truncated. This feature addressed usability challenges for remotes with verbose button nomenclature, reducing setup time and improving clarity for end users. The solution was delivered as a clear, traceable commit tied to a specific issue, demonstrating focused problem-solving and attention to interface detail within the constraints of embedded systems and C-based firmware development.
