Worked on stabilizing the Linux/X11 backend for the lvgl/lv_port_linux repository, focusing on improving reliability rather than introducing new features. Addressed a critical issue in window dimension initialization by correcting the order of width and height parameters during X11 window creation, which resolved rendering inconsistencies and improved the user experience. Utilized C programming skills and knowledge of embedded systems and GUI development to identify, debug, and patch the problem. Maintained clear commit messaging to support future maintainability. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to debugging and contributed to a more robust Linux/X11 port by eliminating display issues for end users.
