Worked on improving the logout navigation flow in the techswitch-learners/whale-watching-june-25 repository, focusing on front end development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Addressed a key bug by updating the logout process to redirect users to the homepage after sign-out, rather than the login page, ensuring a more intuitive user experience. Incorporated feedback from the tech lead to enhance code quality and maintainability, and verified routing and session flow changes for QA readiness. The work emphasized clear navigation and consistent session handling, contributing to a more stable and user-friendly application without introducing new features during the period.
