Developed automated test coverage for community pool spend functionality in the cosmos/gaia repository, focusing on the distribution module’s fund transfer logic. Leveraging Go and backend development skills, the work extended the interchain test suite to validate that community pool spend transactions correctly update recipient balances. This approach integrated quality assurance directly into continuous integration pipelines, enabling earlier detection of regressions in governance fund distribution. By documenting and committing the new test artifact, the developer ensured traceable improvements to CI coverage. The contribution enhanced the reliability of fund transfers in interchain environments, supporting safer and more predictable releases through robust automated testing.
