Worked on enhancing the continuous integration process for the rsksmart/powpeg-node repository by upgrading the rootstock integration tests within the GitHub Actions workflow. The approach involved replacing a commit-based runner with the V2 image, ensuring that tests execute in an environment closely matching production and local setups. This change, implemented through YAML configuration and leveraging CI/CD best practices, reduced flaky test failures and streamlined future upgrades by referencing the V2 image directly in the workflow file. The update improved testing reliability and feedback speed, contributing to more consistent development cycles without introducing new bug fixes during the reported period.
