
In October 2025, Awas6 enhanced the Flow.Launcher repository by developing a user-configurable feature that prioritizes HTTPS over HTTP when opening URLs, addressing security concerns and aligning with best practices. The implementation involved updating the core URL handling logic in C# and XAML to respect the new preference, as well as extending the settings panel and adding localization support for broader accessibility. This work demonstrated skills in configuration management, plugin development, and UI development, resulting in a more secure and user-controlled experience. The feature maintained backward compatibility, reflecting thoughtful engineering and a focus on both usability and security within the project.
