Adithya Amarakoon developed a new BusinessController for the Company-B-MSD/tripmate repository, enabling comprehensive management of business-related API endpoints. The controller supports registering, retrieving, updating, deleting, searching, and category-based fetching of businesses, all integrated with a centralized BusinessService to ensure consistent backend logic. Working primarily with Java and leveraging Spring Boot for REST API development, Adithya focused on backend architecture and code maintainability. The project included a dedicated refactor to improve code readability and long-term support. Over the month, Adithya delivered one feature with no reported bugs, demonstrating depth in backend development and attention to clean, maintainable code.
