Worked on the nammayatri/nammayatri repository to implement backend support for refund status tracking, focusing on enhancing the application's ability to monitor and manage refund processes. Leveraged Haskell for backend development and database management, introducing new fields for refund ID and completion timestamp within the refund information structure. Updated backend logic ensured these fields were properly handled, while a seamless database migration integrated the changes without downtime or data loss. The updated refund processing flow now persists and reflects status changes, laying the groundwork for improved visibility, reconciliation, and analytics. This work addressed a core business need within a one-month period.
