During July 2025, work focused on developing a Unified Web Search Server with Multi-Engine Support for the punkpeye/awesome-mcp-servers repository. This feature enabled users to perform web searches across multiple engines without requiring API keys, broadening search coverage and reducing integration friction. The implementation emphasized maintainability and extensibility, laying a scalable foundation for future engine additions. The server was introduced through two commits, leveraging full stack and web development skills with Markdown for documentation and configuration. This approach improved the user search experience and addressed the challenge of external API dependencies, providing a robust architecture for ongoing enhancements and integrations.
