During January 2025, Aniruddha Shenai focused on improving the boot process for Texas Instruments platforms in the flipperdevices/u-boot repository. He addressed a critical bug affecting device tree file loading and boot image size handling, specifically for K3, am64x, j721e, and j721s2 devices. Using his expertise in C, embedded systems, and kernel configuration, Aniruddha removed obsolete configuration paths and legacy code, streamlining the boot sequence and eliminating duplicated ti/ prefixes in device tree resolution. These changes enhanced cross-platform reliability and maintainability, resolving boot failures and simplifying CI pipelines for arm64 TI devices without introducing new features during the period.
