Worked on backend development for the flowiseai/flowise repository, focusing on improving API reliability and user experience. Addressed a critical bug by implementing robust error handling for the chatflows endpoint using TypeScript, ensuring that malformed ChatFlow ID formats now return a 400 status while non-existent IDs correctly return 404. This approach standardized error responses, aligning API behavior with user expectations and reducing confusion for both users and developers. Enhanced server-side logic to preserve original error types and documented the changes to facilitate smoother client integration. The work emphasized API development, error handling, and backend best practices over the course of the month.
