Worked on the UBS_M1_TEI repository to deliver TEI metadata enrichment and structural tagging for the Les Caractères de La Bruyère digital edition. Using XML and TEI, the developer enhanced bibliographic metadata by refining edition IDs and publisher and author details, improving the discoverability and citability of the text. The approach included adding structural div3 elements to clarify document organization, as well as entity tagging to identify Dieu as a religious entity and Esprits forts as an organization. This work improved both the semantic searchability and the overall metadata accuracy of the digitized edition, aligning with project standards throughout.
