Worked on the kubescape/helm-charts repository to simplify scheduler enablement and enhance configuration-driven deployment behavior. Developed a feature allowing kubescapeScheduler and kubeVulnScheduler to be enabled solely through configurationScan, eliminating the previous dependency on the submit flag. This technical approach reduced configuration friction and minimized the risk of misconfiguration for scheduler pods across various environments. Focused on improving deployment reliability and consistency of Helm chart values, the work leveraged skills in Helm, Kubernetes, and Go. The changes streamlined the rollout process for scheduler pods, making downstream deployments more robust and easier to manage through configuration alone during May 2025.
