Worked on the sysadminsmedia/homebox repository, focusing on frontend development using Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Addressed two user experience issues by refining modal dialog behavior in administrative workflows. Implemented an automatic closure for the scanner modal upon successful QR code scans, ensuring the interface responds intuitively and reduces unnecessary user actions. Enhanced the location creation process by preserving the selected parent location when reopening the modal or adding multiple locations, maintaining workflow context and minimizing confusion. Demonstrated careful attention to state management and UI consistency, resulting in smoother admin tasks and a reduction in potential support queries related to modal interactions.
