During February 2025, Xingyu contributed to the MCDReforged/PluginCatalogue repository by developing and integrating a new instant messaging API plugin named 'im_api'. This work focused on plugin development using Java, with an emphasis on creating a minimal and low-risk implementation that extends the PluginCatalogue’s architecture for future IM API integrations. Xingyu’s approach ensured straightforward integration, reducing maintenance overhead while enhancing the system’s extensibility. The changes were well-documented and traceable through commit references, supporting auditability. Although the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the work demonstrated careful attention to maintainability and future readiness.
