During October 2025, Amine Mghirbi enhanced the chat model reliability and flexibility within the cozy/cozy-stack repository by introducing dynamic document type support for chat model sources. Using Go and focusing on backend development and error handling, Amine removed hardcoded dependencies on specific document types, allowing the chat model to support a broader range of sources at runtime. He also implemented safe defaults for missing source properties, reducing the risk of crashes and improving overall robustness. This work improved maintainability and scalability, laying a foundation for future extension while ensuring the chat model could handle diverse and evolving data sources.
