Developed foundational Excimer profiling and logging extension stubs for the JetBrains/phpstorm-stubs repository, enabling enhanced performance diagnostics for PHP projects. The work focused on introducing new stubs for ExcimerLog, ExcimerLogEntry, and ExcimerProfiler, providing essential tooling to capture and analyze PHP stack traces. By designing these extension stubs, the developer established a basis for more effective root-cause analysis and performance profiling within PHP environments. The implementation demonstrated proficiency in PHP development, logging, and performance profiling, while adhering to established Git-based workflows and API design considerations. This contribution laid groundwork for improved performance analysis across projects using PHPStorm stubs.
