Yao Xue contributed to the zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr-testing repository by developing and refining embedded C drivers focused on hardware-software integration for NXP iMXRT10xx SoCs. Over the month, Yao addressed a voltage instability issue by aligning the DCDC output range with datasheet specifications, improving power stability in both low-power and normal modes. Additionally, Yao enhanced flash memory compatibility by updating the 4-byte address mode entry sequence, broadening device support. The work demonstrated depth in driver development, embedded systems, and SoC configuration, with changes consolidated for traceability and review. These efforts improved hardware reliability and efficiency at the patch level.
