Worked on stabilizing the ComponentDefinitionReconciler within the apecloud/kubeblocks repository, focusing on backend reliability for Kubernetes-based deployments. Addressed a reconciliation issue by ensuring PodUpdatePolicy and PodUpgradePolicy were set to nil during immutable-hash computation, which prevented mismatches and reduced policy-related errors during runtime. This targeted bug fix improved the consistency of CRD-driven reconciliations, leading to fewer intermittent failures when updating pod policies. Leveraged Go and Kubernetes expertise to maintain high code quality, providing clear commit messages and precise pull request references for traceability. The work emphasized backend development best practices and contributed to more reliable deployment workflows in production environments.
