Contributed to the epam/cloud-pipeline repository by delivering advanced features for 3D data visualization, GUI security, and cluster monitoring over a four-month period. Developed volumetric rendering and a Z-planes slider for the HCS Viewer, enabling efficient analysis of complex imaging datasets using JavaScript, React, and WebGL. Enhanced Kubernetes cluster monitoring with new resource charts and label semantics, improving operational visibility. Strengthened GUI security by migrating to HTTPS and implementing cryptographically secure randomness. Modernized the Wetty SSH interface with ES modules, persistent theming, and Dockerfile updates, resulting in a more robust, user-friendly, and maintainable front-end experience across browsers and environments.
October 2025 monthly summary for epam/cloud-pipeline focusing on user experience improvements, code modernization, and deployment robustness. Highlights include a major Wetty GUI upgrade with ES modules integration and theming support; substantial theme customization and UX enhancements; a Firefox-specific terminal initialization fix to ensure reliable readiness events; and deployment hardening through updated Dockerfile and init scripts. The work delivers measurable business value by improving SSH access UX, consistency of theming across users, cross-browser reliability, and streamlined deployment readiness.
