Worked on the openclaw/openclaw repository to enhance gateway security by delivering the Doctor Gateway Security Warning Enhancement. This feature improved detection of exposed gateway configurations and strengthened authentication checks, providing users with more actionable remediation guidance for critical exposure issues. The approach involved expanding test coverage to ensure the new warning logic functioned reliably across a variety of scenarios, reducing the risk of misconfiguration and exposure. Collaboration with an external contributor supported the hardening effort. The work leveraged TypeScript and Node.js, with a focus on backend development, security, and comprehensive testing to improve the overall security posture of gateway components.
