Worked on the intel/intel-device-plugins-for-kubernetes repository to enhance traceability and provenance for container images by adding OCI image source annotations to Dockerfiles. This update linked Dockerfiles directly to GitHub repository metadata, improving reproducibility and auditability in line with OCI standards. The approach focused on governance and automation readiness, positioning the project for automated provenance checks and streamlined CI pipeline maintenance. Utilizing DevOps practices, Docker, and containerization skills, the work addressed compliance and maintainability without introducing new defects. The contribution centered on a single feature, reflecting a targeted and standards-driven engineering effort to strengthen build governance and image attribution processes.
