Worked on enhancing the iptv-org/epg repository by improving compatibility with the MovistarPlus site, focusing on more reliable and accurate program scheduling. Addressed recurring 400 errors from movistarplus.es by refining request handling and parsing logic, and introduced timezone-aware scheduling to ensure program times remained accurate across different regions. Adjusted user-agent headers to further improve site compatibility and stabilize content retrieval. Utilized JavaScript for both API integration and web scraping, resulting in a more robust module that reduced user-facing failures and support needs. The work demonstrated attention to detail in handling external site changes and regional scheduling complexities.
