Worked on the matteocrippa/firmware repository to enhance multilingual display capabilities, focusing on Polish font support for E-Ink devices. Leveraged C++ and embedded systems expertise to introduce new font definitions and a dedicated build flag, enabling accurate Polish text rendering across hardware. Refined existing font assets to improve visual consistency and addressed a rendering issue that caused double spaces in Czech and Slovak text on both OLED and E-Ink displays. The firmware changes improved internationalization and cross-device reliability, demonstrating a methodical approach to firmware development and font rendering for embedded environments, with attention to user experience in multilingual scenarios.
