Worked on the sloalchemist/potions repository to enhance security and maintainability for asset transfers between communities. Developed a transfer guard by introducing an isNotAllied static method within the Community class and integrating it into the giveItem workflow, ensuring that item transfers are restricted to allied communities only. Expanded unit test coverage using TypeScript to validate these new restrictions and safeguard against future regressions. Performed targeted codebase cleanup by removing unnecessary console logs and obsolete test database files, streamlining maintenance and reducing noise. Leveraged backend development and database management skills, with a focus on reliability, traceability, and supporting stable item flows.
