Anes Benmerzoug integrated the Assembly2MuJoCo tool as a new submodule within the FreeCAD/FreeCAD-addons repository, expanding assembly modeling capabilities for FreeCAD users. He managed the submodule configuration using advanced Git submodule management techniques, specifying the source repository and branch to ensure stable and maintainable integration. This work streamlined the process of accessing MuJoCo-based assemblies, reducing manual setup and enabling faster adoption of new tooling within the FreeCAD ecosystem. While the scope was focused and did not involve bug fixes, Anes demonstrated depth in repository management and version control, delivering a targeted feature that enhances the extensibility of FreeCAD.
