Worked on the facebook/OpenBIC repository to deliver temperature monitoring for the Marvell HSM OCTEON SoC, focusing on embedded systems and sensor integration using C. Developed and integrated new sensor read and configuration APIs into the existing sensor management framework, enabling real-time temperature visibility for the OCTEON SoC. This approach allowed for proactive thermal management, reducing the risk of throttling or downtime in critical subsystems. The implementation included end-to-end hardware validation through 12V and DC power-cycle tests, ensuring stable sensor readings. All changes were merged following code review and differential revision, improving platform reliability and maintainability with traceable, well-tested updates.
