During the past month, contributed to the ChrisTitusTech/linutil repository by addressing a targeted bug in the system-cleanup.sh script to improve compatibility with both apt and nala package managers. The work involved removing the autoclean command, which caused errors with nala, and standardizing the cleanup process using autoremove -y for both tools. This adjustment stabilized the automated system cleanup workflow, reducing runtime errors and minimizing the need for manual intervention. Demonstrated proficiency in Shell scripting and system administration by carefully handling edge cases and maintaining clear commit documentation, which enhanced traceability and reliability across diverse Linux environments using Bash.
