
Worked on the tiiuae/nuttx repository to implement a barometer simulation within the fakesensor driver, enabling realistic barometric readings for end-to-end testing and sensor fusion validation. Developed the fakesensor_read_baro function in C to parse pressure and temperature values from CSV data and publish them as sensor_baro UORB messages, integrating barometric sensor data into the existing fake sensor stream. This addition enhanced the realism of test scenarios for navigation and sensor fusion modules in embedded systems. The work demonstrated proficiency in C programming, embedded systems, and sensor driver development, focusing on improving testing capabilities without introducing bug fixes during the period.
